Bentley lit up the North American International Auto Show in Detroit when they gave an appearance to new boy Mulsanne.
Designed and engineered in Crewe, England, the Mulsanne can be purchased in a whopping 114 paint colours. There are also 21 carpet colours, nine wood veneers and 24 interior leather hides available. If that wasn’t enough, they claim the Bentley bespoke service will help you further adjust those shades to match your personal taste.
They’ve re-engineered the famous Bentley V8 to deliver 505hp and 1020Nm of torque. It’s also been brought up to date environmentally speaking, reducing fuel consumption by 15% and making it far less ready to splurge CO2.
They’ve also incorporated all the new gizmos from a SIM card reader to IPod connectivity. But on top of that, if you buy NAIM’s premium audio system, at 2,200 watts you’ll be in charge of the most powerful system fitted in any production vehicle in the world.
Bentley also unwrapped the 51 Continental GTC. The Series 51 package can be applied to the Continental range’s GT, GT Speed, GTC and GTC Speed models. They’ll be priced from $192,750 starting with the GT coupe model.
In the US prices for the Mulsanne start at $285,000 and they’ve also picked a suitably American start date – the Fall.
